Console installation mode
In console mode, when installing the OS on the computer's hard disk partitions, the user is prompted to set the settings, confirm the installation, and if the installation was successful, download the installed OS for the first time.
Process control buttons:
-[Next] - go to the next page with the settings;
-[Back] - go back to the previous page with the settings;
-[Install] - install the OS.

To navigate through the menu and set values, use the keys (hint at the bottom of the screen):
-<Right Arrow>, <Left Arrow>, <Up Arrow> and <Down Arrow> - move the cursor, respectively, to the right, left, up and down;
-<Tab> - move the cursor to the right;
-<Space>, <Enter> - change;
-<Esc> - cancel;
-<F10> - shutdown.


OS Usage Agreement
After selecting the console installation, the <<License>> page will appear on the monitor screen. The page contains the text of the license under which the installed OS is delivered. To continue the installation, enable (mark) the <<I accept the license agreement terms>> flag (at the bottom) and enter the [Next] button.


Setting the values of the setup program parameters
After signing the agreement, a page opens for setting the parameter values.
You should set a new value for each of the suggested settings or accept the default value.

Regional Settings
In the item <<Language switching>>, from the drop-down list, set the method for switching the keyboard between the national layout and the standard Latin layout.
In the <<System language>> item, select the system language from the drop-down list.
In the <<Time zone>> item, select the time zone from the drop-down list.

Authorization Settings
In <<Hostname>>, enter the computer name in. A computer name is a single word that identifies a system on the network.
Under <<Username>>, enter the name of the administrator account. The administrator account must start with a lowercase Latin letter, which can be followed by any number of lowercase Latin letters or numbers.
In the paragraph <<Password>> must be entered in a sequence of letters, numbers, and characters, with a total of at least eight.
In the paragraph <<Password confirmation>> you should re-enter the password to verify the correctness of the input by comparing the results.

Other settings
In the item <<OS components>>, in the drop-down list of software packages, select the required software packages and enter [OK]. After that, the list is closed. During installation, software packages from the selected software sets will be installed. If you enter [Cancel], the software packages from the previously selected software packages will be installed.
In the <<Additional settings>> item, a list of additional OS settings opens. The suggested advanced settings allow you to set OS security settings and disable automatic network configuration. In the list, select the required additional settings and enter [OK]. After that, the list is closed. When installing the OS, the selected additional settings will be taken into account. If you enter [Cancel], the OS installation will take into account the additional settings previously marked for installation.
In the <<Device partitioning scheme>> item, a submenu opens for setting the disk layout scheme. The actual disk layout is performed during the OS installation phase. The disk choosing is from the drop-down list. Press <F2> to edit the disk layout configuration file. [Close] - the <<Device partitioning scheme>> submenu is closed.
Flag <<Reboot computer after installation is complete>> enables automatic restart of the computer after the installation is completed.

Disk Layout configuration
Based on the contents of this configuration file, the disks specified in this file will be marked up. Uses pykickstart command format for partitioning disks.

Installing the OS
Entering [Install] starts the installation process. The system warns that all data on the devices specified when configuring disk partitioning will be deleted and asks you to confirm. Click the [Install] button. The OS will be installed based on the selected settings. If you enter [Back], the OS installation cancelled.
After starting the OS installation, a page with error messages and the execution protocol will appear. Error messages and the execution log are output to the /var/log/astra-installer.log file. After installing the OS, this file is copied to the /var/log/astra-installer.log file on the new system.
After the installation is completed successfully, if the automatic restart is set, the computer restarts. If automatic restart is not installed, then after the installation is completed successfully, a message appears on the page about the successful installation and the time of the installation, and you are also prompted to run the installed OS for the first time. Enter [Finish] (at the bottom) - the computer restarts.
